U GOOD BRO??
Our partners with the Su***de Prevention Awareness Coalition , Horizon Behavioral Health , and Lock & Talk have continued Barbershop Talks this year! They are being offered every Saturday this month, starting tomorrow at Paulie's Barbershop!

U good bro?

A lot of guys are used to being the one people count on, but everybody needs a place where they can be real sometimes.

This June, we're inviting the men in our communities to join us for our 2nd annual round of "Barbershop Talks"—honest but laid-back conversations about life, stress, family, work, mental health, and whatever else is on your mind.

No pressure, no judgment, no lectures. This isn't a therapy session- just a group of men talking honestly about what it means to carry responsibilities, handle stress, support others, and take care of ourselves along the way.

Free pizza, snacks, drinks, and swag bags.

Whether you're doing great, having a tough season, or just want to connect with other men in the community, there's a seat for you.

Come through, share, listen, and learn. Let’s build each other up.

June 6– Paulie's Barber Shop & Company
June 13– Hill City Cuts Barbershop
June 20– Ted & Ted’s Barber Shoppe LLC
June 27– The Cutting Room

It was a beautiful, warm and sunny day to spread hope, support and mental health awareness at the Chalk & Walk with Su***de Prevention Awareness Coalition, Living On, Horizon Behavioral Health, and the local AKA chapter at Percival's Isle this morning. We left inspiring messages along the path, painted rocks, enjoyed snacks, did pastel chalk drawings thanks to Stephen with the Academy Center of the Arts, and heard speakers bravely share their stories. Hoping our messages will help someone along their way long after we packed up today to close out 💚

What an incredible and deeply meaningful night last night 🖤 Over 100 people came together for our Metal for Mental Health benefit at Super Rad Arcade Bar, and what filled that room was so much more than music... it was connection, vulnerability, healing, and community.

We watched strangers become friends, people bravely share pieces of their stories, and others realize they are not alone in their struggles. There was laughter, heavy music, hugs, and moments that reminded us exactly why spaces like this matter so much.

A huge thank you to the Academy Center of the Arts for joining us and creating custom metal-style stamped logo koozies on-site, and to our incredible partners with the Su***de Prevention Awareness Coalition for showing up to share resources, support, and hope with our community.

And to our bands: Smoke, O***m Church, Whimper, Twisted Nature, and Future Trash, thank you for pouring your hearts onto that stage and helping create an atmosphere where people felt seen, accepted, and alive. The energy in that room was unforgettable.

This night would not have been possible without every single person who helped make it happen behind the scenes, showed up to support, donated, volunteered, performed, or simply stood in that crowd and held space for others.

Congratulations to our guitar raffle winner, Kyle Parker, who also absolutely killed it running sound for the event! Thank you, again, to Orie Franklin for his generous support by donating the guitar to our raffle.

We truly hope everyone who attended left feeling what we hoped to weave into this scene: love, passion, belonging, hope, and the reminder that even in our darkest moments, we do not have to carry things alone. 🖤🤘
