This is Elizabeth. Thank you to all of our friends who supported us. Unfortunately we lost...and the political machine got even stronger. Each election keeps making them more and more powerful.

I just hope those of us who are unhappy with the monopoly can continue to come together to create a strong unified force that can try to keep them in check.

The bullying alone that we have witnessed at town meetings is why Josh ran. That bullying will continue if we let it.

Right after the results came out one of their supporters sent Josh a taunting message that he didn’t win. This is a woman who has a high power job at a financial institution ...it is shameful.

Running against a political machine is rough for so many reasons. The machine has money. As an independent...we couldn’t compete with their money. Even with so many generous contributions we lost money.

We can’t stop fighting. We have to encourage good people to continue to run and make sure they have the necessary resources. We have to convince our neighbors to get out and vote. We have to convince people to vote for the candidate and not the party.

I am sorry that we weren’t able to crack their code but I hope our voices can continue to be unified in saying we won’t stand for bullying. We won’t stand for favoritism. We expect the village justice to work more than his current 50% of the time.

Thank you again for your support.

This is Elizabeth ....Josh says he is happy to have won the silver medal. New Vision continues to rule our village. Hopefully one day that will change but today’s not that day unfortunately.

Hi from Elizabeth!! So...the polls close at 9:00 but it will likely be much later than that before we know any results. Thank you for all of the support, donations and of course ...votes. We hope we will win tonight but whatever happens we know we have a great candidate and had a great campaign. Change needs to happen...hopefully we’ll see that tonight but if not tonight...we need to keep the momentum up and change will inevitably happen! Josh for Justice!!!

This is poll watcher Elizabeth here to report that as of 3:30 ....415 people voted. Please...if you haven’t voted or know someone who hasn’t...please get out and vote! Every vote counts. We need your vote! Thank you!

This is Elizabeth once again...I’ve got a lot on my mind! 🙂

I want to thank all our friends and family who have supported us throughout this campaign.

Voting tomorrow for Josh is more than just a vote to elect Josh...it’s about speaking up and being heard. If you are unhappy...then vote.

Change cannot happen unless more and more people are encouraged to run for office and challenge the system. Checks and balances are the cornerstone of democracy.

Whether it’s the town government or the school board... if we want change ...we need to vote.

Think your vote – just *your* single vote – can’t change the election?

Here’s proof that it can:

New York’s 22nd Congressional District stretches across eight counties, reaching from the Pennsylvania border to the eastern shore of Lake Ontario; its 2020 election drew a huge amount of interest, and was one of the most expensive races in America last fall.

But it’s famous for a much more interesting reason: attorney and publisher Claudia Tenney was declared the winner only after a *three-month* litigation extravaganza – and she wasn’t actually sworn in until February 11, 2021!

Why did this race take so long to decide?

Because the margin was razor-thin. Thinner than razor-thin:

More than 300,000 votes were cast.

And Tenney won by just… 109 votes.

That’s a margin of victory of less than 0.03 percent!

To put it another way, think of this:

Two years ago, 4,304 people voted in Lynbrook’s mayoral race.

If that same number of people were to vote tomorrow, a .03% difference would equate to approximately…

ONE vote.

Just one vote?

Just one vote!

So, if *any* person reading this skips tomorrow’s vote, that could very well determine the difference between victory and defeat.

Please: vote tomorrow.

(Greis Park, from 7 am until 9 pm)

Thank you!!!
