Last and final post to wrap up this year’s Luzerne Area Predator Hunt!

Sunday was an eventful day — and what a turnout! Congratulations to all 39 teams and 106 hunters who participated this year. We appreciate every one of you.

Successful harvest totals:
• 36 total predators
• 1 Bobcat
• 7 Fox
• 28 Coyotes

Highlight Stats:
• 🏆 One and only Bobcat — 36.2 pounds, Team #11
• 🏆 Heaviest Fox — 12.3 pounds (TIE!) Team #32 & Team #22
• 🏆 Heaviest Coyote — 41 pounds, Team #25

Following weigh-ins and judging, teams gathered at American Legion Post 162 for final results, raffles, and an incredible dinner catered by The Paddling Pig Riverside BBQ and delicous desserts provided by Frank Funny Farm Market .

Great job to all teams — and a sincere thank you to our board members and volunteers for the countless hours spent organizing and hosting this event. Your dedication is what makes this tradition possible year after year.

Friday night at the American Legion Post 162 in Luzerne; kicked off the 14th Annual Luzerne Area Predator Round Up with our rules meeting and cannon start.
Thank you to our DNR officers and our Board for taking the time to speak and ensure everyone is informed and ready. Ethical and legal hunting is the foundation of this event and what keeps it safe, fair, and fun for all involved.
We appreciate every team that showed up prepared and ready.
