We pride ourselves on our professionalism, thorough training, and ability to provide quick and effective responses to rescue requests. When we help reunite a family or save someone in need, we are reminded of the true value of service and teamwork. Together we can accomplish more than we ever could alone. Help Your Local Search and Rescue Organization Thrive! As a non-profit organization, Tejas Rescue Militia is committed to delivering critical support during emergencies, including search and recovery efforts, community outreach, and emotional support. While we do not typically solicit donations, our present need for upgraded equipment is critical. Having self-funded our operations since our inception in 2023, we humbly request your consideration. UPDATED FLOOD RELIEF COORDINATION, VOLUNTEER INFORMATION AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES

In response to recent flooding in Kerr County, city and county officials have partnered with local organizations to provide coordinated relief and support services to affected residents.

Volunteers and In-Kind Donations
The following sites are accepting volunteers and material donations:
• Salvation Army Kerrville, 855 Hayes St., Kerrville, TX 78028. Phone: (830) 465-4797
Open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Monetary Donations
Monetary contributions may be made to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund:
• Online: https://www.communityfoundation.net/ (search for "Kerr County Relief Fund")
• By mail:

Missing Persons
Individuals searching for missing loved ones are urged to contact the Emergency Operations Center:

Include the person’s name, date of birth, gender, eye color, hair color, a recent photo and last known location.

Shelter and Displacement Assistance
Shelters are available for residents whose homes have been destroyed or who are currently displaced:
• First United Methodist Church, 321 Thompson Drive, Kerrville, TX 78028. Phone: (830) 257-0800
• Calvary Temple Church, 3000 Loop 534, Kerrville – available for family support of the missing only.

Other Donations and Support
Donations of services and equipment can be coordinated through https://tcr.communityos.org/ including:
• Law enforcement resources (officers, K-9 units)
• Heavy equipment (such as bulldozers)
• Communications support (Wi-Fi boosters, satellite phones, etc.)

Officials urge residents to monitor official city and county communication channels for the latest updates and additional resources as recovery efforts continue.

MISSING PERSON HAS BEEN FOUND

The Diboll Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in the whereabouts of Brynn Maxwell. Brynn was reported as a missing person on Friday, March 7, 2025. Brynn is believed to have left with her boyfriend Anthony Cathcart who has court orders requiring him to stay away from her.

Brynn is believed to be in danger and we are actively trying to locate her to ensure she is okay.

If you have any information regarding Brynn Maxwell, please call the Diboll Police Department and speak with Lt. Reid or Assistant Chief Hopper.
