Dont forget our friends over at the Sons of the American Legion are accepting donations for their Wreaths Across Mason County program. They have a big goal to hit this year but its possible with the great community we have.

🇺🇸 Wreaths Across Mason County 🇺🇸

The Sons of the American Legion invite our community to help honor the veterans who served our country by participating in Wreaths Across Mason County. Its been an honor to volunteer the past couple years to help them out with the placement of wreaths for our local heroes to remember their sacrifice and ensure they are never forgotten.

Each year this project has grown but there are still many veterans that go without a wreath. We are asking you to help this project grow by sponsoring a wreath or two for a minimum donation of $25.00 per wreath. Every wreath placed is a tribute to a life of service.

💙💛 What is Area 24 Special Olympics? 💛💙

Area 24 Special Olympics is a local program of Special Olympics Michigan that serves athletes with intellectual disabilities throughout Mason, Manistee, and Lake counties.

Through year-round sports training and competition, Area 24 provides opportunities for athletes to build confidence, improve physical fitness, develop friendships, and experience the joy of achievement.

From basketball, bowling, swimming to track and field and snowshoeing, these athletes work hard, compete with pride, and inspire everyone around them.

Area 24 is about much more than sports. It's about inclusion, opportunity, teamwork, and creating a community where every athlete is celebrated for their abilities.

Families, coaches, volunteers, and supporters all play an important role in helping our athletes succeed both on and off the field.

When you support Area 24 Special Olympics, you're helping provide life-changing opportunities for local athletes right here in our community.

So come on out on July 11th and help us support these amazing individuals.

Today, the members of Patriot Saints Riding Club pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who gave everything so we could enjoy the freedoms we have today.

As we ride, gather with family, and enjoy the day, may we never forget the heroes whose courage and sacrifice made it possible.

To our fallen heroes: your service will never be forgotten.

Today, we honor the brave men and women who run toward danger when others are told to run away. From battling raging fires to responding in moments of crisis, firefighters put their lives on the line to protect our communities every single day.
