Our offerings include SolFlow somatic movement classes, immersive sound lounge experiences, and couples workshops focused on energetic connection and relationship alignment. Many of our experiences begin in intimate indoor settings and will gradually expand into nature-based gatherings and outdoor workshops, reflecting our belief that healing and connection deepen when we return to the natural world. Wild Fern Collective exists to create spaces where people can slow down, tune inward, and reconnect — individually and together.

But what's a SoundLounge?

We get this question a lot, and honestly, it's a fair one.

While both experiences use sound to encourage relaxation, mindfulness, and restoration, they aren't quite the same thing.

A sound bath is often a shared group experience. You enter a room with others and are immersed in sounds created for everyone in attendance.

A SoundLounge experience is much more personal.

It's just you.

No crowded room.
No distractions.
No wondering if you're doing it right.

Before your session, we take time to understand what brought you here.

Are you struggling with stress or anxiety?

Having trouble sleeping?

Working through grief?

Seeking more focus, creativity, or mental clarity?

Together, we select an experience designed around your specific intention.

Then, as you settle into the lounger, you're immersed in carefully curated frequencies, music, and guided audio through headphones while gentle vibrations travel through the lounger itself.

One of the things I noticed immediately was that I wasn't just hearing the sound—I was feeling it.

In a traditional sound bath, I often find myself wishing I could experience the frequencies more deeply.

The SoundLounge feels different.

The sound doesn't simply surround you.

It moves through you.

Think of it this way:

Low frequencies don’t just sound powerful.
They move through you.
Literally.

Low-frequency sound behaves differently than higher tones.

Bass waves are longer.
Longer waves travel farther.
And they pe*****te deeper into physical matter.

Your body isn’t just hearing bass.
It’s conducting it.
Here’s what’s happening biologically:
• Low frequencies travel through tissue and fluid
• Mechanoreceptors in fascia detect vibration
• Thoracic vibration can stimulate vagal pathways
• Chest cavity resonance affects breathing patterns
• Whole-body vibration influences motor readiness
Fascia is a continuous sensory network.

Dr. Alexander Wunsch, a German physician and photobiologist, argues that for hundreds of thousands of years our eyes and skin evolved inside a forest canopy, bathed in a very specific quality of light: green-rich, UV-softened, full of near-infrared.

Today we live under LEDs, behind glass, and surrounded by concrete. That's not just less light. It's the wrong kind of light entirely, and our biology, from sleep hormones to UV tolerance, is still calibrated for the forest version.

The research on forest bathing backs him up. Studies from Japan show that just one day among trees drops cortisol by over 12 percent, lowers blood pressure, and triggers a 50 percent surge in natural killer immune cells that lasts for seven days.

Trees release antimicrobial compounds called phytoncides that directly stimulate immune activity when inhaled. Add Wunsch's light thesis to this and the picture becomes clear: the forest isn't just a nice place to walk.

It's a biological environment our bodies were built for, and most of us are chronically starved of it.

There’s a reason being barefoot on the earth feels different.

Your body picks up on it immediately.
