Today, two promotions in the Lubbock Patriot Guard were made. These gentlemen have put in the work through countless missions, meetings, and events and have been extremely reliable with the tremendous amount of missions we've had to date. Your time and dedication has not gone unnoticed. For that, we thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Congratulations, Mr. Eric Flores, for your promotion to Ride Captain! That hat looks awesome on you, brother!! 51 out of 54 missions in June and July alone!!! Whew, that is not easy. Thank you for doing it so graciously. Your time and dedication are greatly appreciated. Eric, you are a blessing to this organization and we wouldn't be here today without all the help you've put in. PGR looks forward to all your future rides! A truly deserved promotion, indeed. No better man for the job!Congratulations, Ride Captain, Flores!

Last, but certainly not least, congratulations, Mr. Willie Buckingham, for your promotion to Assistant Deputy State Captain! You are rollin with the big dogs now bro! 26 out of 54 mission in June and July alone! Thank you for your dedication to PGR. Willie, you have a true servant's heart and a genuine love for honoring veterans. You are definitely the man for the job. Now, tighten your boot straps, sir, the fun is just beginning! PGR is truly blessed to have you. Congratulations, ADSC, Buckingham!

I cannot think of two more deserving individuals. Gentlemen, God bless your futures with the Patriot Guard Riders of Lubbock and may you always have the hearts for serving these Veterans and their families. Thank you, again, and once more, congratulations!

We have 9 missions on the schedule for this week. How many can you help support? If we could get each follower to support just ONE mission per week, we could take a lot of the stress off of the few that has had to attend every single one of them in order to not turn down a grieving family of a veteran. Imagine requesting for your loved one to be honored and nobody shows up. Imagine knowing that your husband, wife, son, daughter served our country and did not get honors when they passed away. It will be each of us one day, so imagine your family requesting FOR YOU to be honored and no one showing up to honor you. We had to turn down over 30 families last year due to non-attendance and it breaks my heart to think that we will exceed that number this year if we keep getting the number of volunteers that we have been getting. The link to our calendar is posted in the featured posts on the top of our page. The missions are posted on our group as well. Respectfully, all we are asking for is a small amount of your time so that the few who are always there doesn't get burned out. at the end of this week, we will have completed 23 funeral missions. We used to average about 8 or 9 per month. We NEED your help.
