On behalf of the Lubbock NAACP, it is our great honor to inform you that your organization has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Caviel Business and Community Service Award. Named in honor of Ms. Billie Caviel, who, longside her husband, established the first Black-owned pharmacy in Lubbock, this award is presented to those who embody a strong legacy of business leadership and community service.

On behalf of the 100 BMWT we truly appreciate such a prestigious honor coming from our esteemed chapter of the NAACP who has fought and continue to fight for the voices in our community that sometimes seems silent. But the NAACP speaks boldly and loudly for equality and justice for our community and the 100 will continue to follow and support your efforts for change.
