Texas Tech Rodeo is a longstanding leader in Collegiate Rodeo, with so many going on to National Rodeo fame. Texas Tech and Rodeo is powerful within the University’s heritage, and continues this hand in hand strength today. The Texas Tech Rodeo Team was established in 1947 and has been a successful program from the very beginning. Multiple team championships (the most recent being the Women's Nati

onal Championship Team in 2012) and individual championships call Texas Tech home. Competing against 16 of the toughest schools in the nation within the Southwestern Region, Texas Tech travels to 10 total rodeos over the course of one school year. As always, Guns Up and Wreck 'Em Tech!
