Hey guys,

I was planning to host a meeting the end of the month but between work stuff, moving across town this week, and some other events, it may be best that we meet in September sometime.

I was looking forward to it but I'm stretched a little thin this month on time and dont want to overdue it.

Let's plan on a September meeting when it's getting cooler as well!!

Also, we have permission to use the lights so if we have a night meeting once the time changes it wont be a big deal.

Thank you to those who made it out to the meeting Thursday evening. I think this will be a great little group.

It will be mostly logistics, however, we should be able to get some pattern work in at the end. Nothing crazy, just a walk/trot easy pattern.

Join is for our first EVER Quadrille Team meeting on July 25th at 7pm.

Location is the Lubbock Saddle Club Arena!

This will be more of a meet and greet and to talk about what we will be doing, when to meet, possible competitions, etc.

All are welcome to join (although if you have a horse that kicks/bites please inform the team). You will be in close quarters to other equine.

For those wondering what Quardille is as per the USDF site:

"Quadrille is most simply defined as team riding...
Competitive teams of four riders or more perform both compulsory and musical freestyle routines. It is an activity suitable to persons of all ages, including youth and 4-H...
Quadrille offers equestrian education in riding, training, and rider/horse communication in a group atmosphere of teamwork and camaraderie. It's a great way to get green riders and horses used to competing without a lot of pressure and its fun!"

*Non-members*
If you are not a saddle club member this is a good chance to come and see what the team is about. Should you be interested you will need to pay $15 and fill out the membership forms. This is for use of the arena and can also attend the scheduled playdays for a lesser price. It's an annual membership.
