Bert and Jason are STILL looking for forever homes! I’m happy to announce that Bert’s brother, Max, found his forever home! LARC closed in February after almost 10.5 years of devotion to rescue, but still has these 2 guys who need families of their own. This is my last ditch effort to get them adopted through LARC before I transfer them to other rescues. Bert’s foster is working more hours at night, so he is spending more time in his kennel than before and his foster feels bad for him.
💚Jason is a 15 month old Bully breed (DOB 6/13/24) who is neutered, UTD on shots, and microchipped. He has been in rescue since he was 6 weeks old and everyone knows the older a dog gets the harder it is to find a forever home. His 3 siblings have been adopted, so finding his forever home is long overdue. Jason has so much personality. He is outgoing, athletic, and always up for some fun. He wants to do what you’re doing and even goes to work sometimes with his foster. Jason is house and kennel trained. He loves to play in water and with balls or ropes. He is good with other dogs and cats. He tends to be a more dominant dog. He’s high energy and can be an “in your face” type of guy. Jason is kid friendly. He knows “easy” and “wait.” This boy has never had a bad day. He’s always goofy, ready, and thinks everyone should be his friend.💚
💙We pulled Bert from Broward in October when he and his brother found themselves on the urgent list for having noncontagious demodex mange. If you know me at all, or have followed LARC long enough, you know I LOVE mange babies! Bert has been in his foster home for almost 1 year and has been patiently waiting for his forever family.
Bert is an approximately 21 - 22 month old American Bulldog mix who is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is house/kennel trained, friendly with other big and small dogs, and kid friendly. He is not a fan of cats. Bert knows basic commands like sit and stay. He walks ok on a leash, but further leash and obedience training is always a great idea for any dog. He is affectionate and loves to give kisses. Bert can be found lying at the nearest feet or with his head in a lap if on the couch. Bert loves his chew toys and while he does have a lot of energy, his foster says his bursts of energy don’t always last long. He is such a great dog and isn’t getting any younger, so let’s help him get adopted now!💙
