With sadness we will honor our friend, Joanie Davis , on Monday afternoon, prior to her Celebration of Life. Calling hours are Sunday at Isenekers, funeral Mass at St Peter’s at 11, followed by burial at Lowville Rural Cemetery, followed by Celebration of Life at VFW, figuring about 1 o’clock. We need donations for food, can be dropped off on Sunday afternoon or Monday. Please let me know what you are bringing.
Tuesday is our meeting at 6 pm. Election of officers. Looking to fill Jr and Sr Vice positions.
Sunday, April 19th is Honor Our Commander Dinner. Free roast pork dinner with donations going to Fuel Our Vets. Starts at 2 pm. Must have reservations so let me know if you’re coming.

Fantastic Super Bowl weekend at the Post! Stacy Bourgeois and Casandra Durgan Marolf rocked it selling the best wings in Lewis County. Heather Hanno never stopped moving yesterday behind the bar! Best Super Bowl food is a tie- Joe Bourgeois buffalo chicken Taquitos and Ta Engelhart’s crescent roll little smoky stuffed jalapeños!! If you missed it, it’s your loss! Until next year - Go Bills!

Thursday, 1/22 Funeral Mass for Post Member, WWll Veteran, Harold Engelhart. Mass at St Peters in Lowville at 11 am. Military Service immediately following at the VFW. Celebration of Life to follow. Food donations from Post and Auxiliary members welcomed, can be dropped off Wednesday or after 8 am on Thursday.

Looking for recommendations: The VFW is looking to replace the bathroom flooring in both uostairs bathrooms from linoleum to wood laminate. Veterans, Veteran owned and members given preference. Hoping to have the work done between now and May. Who’s out there?
