On March 25, 2025, the Markley Group was granted an air quality permit that allowed them to operate 19 diesel emergency engines. By June 1, 2025, the site had a total of 21 diesel engines, 2 more than what they were allowed to have according to the air quality permit they were approved for in March. When it was brought to their attention at a meeting for their next air quality permit, the one currently in litigation, Markley stated they only had 19 engines despite 21 being there.
Where is the transparency and enforcement from our local and state government officials ?

Currently there are 23 generators each holds about 6,000 to 6,350 gallons of diesel that is well over the 71,000 approved amount. If diesel fuel is being kept or used on site without proper approvals, or if information is being withheld from the public, residents have a right to ask questions and seek transparency.

Is Markley hiding the fact there's more fuel than what is permitted ?
Could this be why public observation is being strictly enforced with trespassing orders, privacy screens and walls being built where generators were to be placed ?

Markley entering into another secret agreement with the property owner they are attempting to subdivide with, along with continued security presence at that end of the property, local residents are left asking legitimate questions. Are these actions intended to protect the property, or to discourage public observation? First a wall, then a fence, and now this. The community deserves clear answers and greater transparency about Markley's intentions.

Everyone is being asked to conserve water. With Artificial Intelligence now in there, causing a proven increase in water consumption, will Markley cut their water usage to ?

LOWELL — Residents in cities like Lowell are being asked by the state Department of Energy and Environmental Affairs to minimize water use due to critical levels of drought.

Residents at 685 Lawrence St indicated a seating area and dog park area for their tenants has suddenly been fenced off by a contractor hired by Markley. Prior to this, the building at 685 Lawrence St had been providing water as irrigation to that area. The hose is still running to that area yet it’s now closed off at Markley’s say so.

What is Markley up to? And do they have authorization to be doing it? Why the shield? No transparency.
