And, we're back in business! Thanks to Friends of the Englehardt Library volunteer Dave A and a stretch of good weather, the Little Free Library at Creekside Park on Gee Drive is now restocked and open.
Take a book, leave a book - and, please, close the door firmly, with care. ❤️📚

No, the Little Free Library maintained by the Friends of the Englehardt Library Englehardt/Lowell Branch - KDL has NOT been stolen. Repairman Dave A has removed it to his personal workshop so he is no longer thwarted by the mercurial temps and weather of March in Michigan
He hopes to return it to Creekside Park off Gee Drive as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience!

February is Library Lovers Month at the Englehardt/Lowell Branch - KDL. The Friends are celebrating with a Book Basket Giveaway and half-off non-fiction books in our lobby Book Nook. This week pick up some interesting biographies - new subjects on sale every week.
And put your name in the drawing box for our "Think Spring - Think Gardening" themed book basket! One lucky winner will be awarded the prize at the end of the month.

The Little Free Library at Creekside Park on Gee Drive needs to be repaired and will be out of service for the near future. Thanks for your patience!

Big THANK YOU! goes out to Jeff P of the City of Lowell's DPW staff for seeing the wind damage to the Friends of the Englehardt/Lowell Branch - KDL -sponsored Little Free Library near Creekside Kingdom park on Gee Drive. He wrapped it in plastic and secured it with tape to protect the books inside.
The Friends really appreciate your prompt actions, Jeff! We hope to get this Free Library repaired and functional as soon as possible.

We learned the ins and outs of holiday greens arrangement in our Friends of the Englehardt Library Members Only event. Led by floral architect Diane L of Eastern Floral, Friends and their guests created festive holiday table decor.
