Safe Families for Children is a family preservation movement dedicated to keeping children safe from abuse and neglect, strengthening families and deflecting children from entering the foster care system. Safe Families for Children (SFFC) extends community support by hosting vulnerable children and strengthening their families in crisis through a network of volunteers motivated by compassion. The SFFC movement is based on the perspective that the safety and health of the children of our communities are the responsibility of each one of us and that parents are the key to providing long term safe environments for their children.

Thanks to Weld Community Credit Union and MI Sports, everyone joining us for Footsteps for Families will have a little something extra to take home.

Weld Community Credit Union provided our swag bags, MI Sports provided our race shirts, and Bio-One paid for them to be made — so when you show up Saturday, you’ll be able to walk away with both!

We’re so thankful for the support these local businesses have given to make this event special for our participants and for Safe Families for Children Northern Colorado. 💙 💚
