Parents, we have an awesome opportunity for students in grades 1–8! 🎉

Our amazing Community Partner Inside the Lines is offering The Rising Achievers After-School Tutoring + Training Program at the JCPS Satellite Office. This program combines academic support with athletic training to help students succeed in the classroom and on the court!

✅ Tutoring: Reading, math, homework help, and study skills

✅ Athletic Training: Basketball, fitness, fundamentals, and teamwork, weight training

✅ Personal Growth: Confidence, leadership, goal-setting, and mentorship

📅 Monday–Thursday | 5–8 PM

📍 JCPS Satellite Office, 1107 S. 17th St.
Entrance #12 on Gallagher Street

Students must attend at least 2 days per week and participate in both tutoring and training.

Christmas help ✨

🎄 Christmas Assistance Sign-Ups Are Coming! 🎄

Christmas assistance registration will be open the following days throughout October for eligible Hardin County families.

The first registration date will be:

📅 Wednesday, October 7, 2026
⏰ 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
📍 Hardin County Fairgrounds
5617 S. Dixie Highway, Glendale, KY

Free winter gear will be available to those who register on the first day, while supplies last.

Registration in October is required to receive assistance. Please carefully review the attached flyer for all required documents, eligibility guidelines, additional dates, and locations. Applicants who do not bring the required information will be unable to register.

This is where our teens gather for transformative retreats, empowerment workshops, mentoring, academic celebrations, leadership development, community service, college and career preparation, emotional wellness activities, and community events.

This center gives our girls a safe place to learn, heal, grow, build confidence, strengthen their voices, and create lifelong sisterhood. Supporting Arthur S. Kling means supporting the teens, seniors, families, and community programs connected to this incredible space.
