Today we were on our way to the bank to deposit KAIA’s yard sale earnings when Cole decided he needed sunglasses. 😎

My husband’s sunglasses happened to be sitting in the car, so obviously… problem solved.

What happened next? Hilarity. 😂

See, whenever I get my hands on Cole’s phone, I take A LOT of pictures of myself. Apparently, Cole has been paying attention. Let’s just say he got me back BIG TIME today. 📸🤣

Second year, same plan, more success! 🤩

We brought our treasures to Molly Schaeffer Cape’s neighborhood yard sale with our “take what you want, donate what you can” approach and it worked again! 🎉

Still not over this night! ⛳️🤩

Golf, dinner, drinks, lots of laughs, and SO many people showing up for inclusion! Our Topgolf event was a whole lot of fun, and we love getting to see the KAIA community come together.

And there’s an extra special reason we’re sharing this reel: it was created by one of our newest Fully Charged Futures participants, Katie Graas ! 🎬👏

Fully Charged Futures is all about building real-world skills, creating opportunities, and making sure people have the chance to put their talents to work. This reel is one more example of what’s possible when we create those opportunities. ⚡️

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported KAIA, played a little golf (or at least attempted to 😉), and helped make the night such a success!

We’re already looking forward to the next one. ⛳️💚

🚗💬 Car Chats with Cole: False Alarm Edition

One time, I told Cole about a guy I saw driving a red convertible with a GIANT teddy bear buckled into the front seat. 🧸🚘

Naturally, Cole was VERY interested… except by the time he looked up, he had missed it.

So now every time I comment on something happening on the road, he’s convinced he’s missing something AMAZING.

Cole: 👀 “What is it? What is it? WHAT IS IT?!”

Me: “Traffic.”

Cole: “Oh.”

😂 False alarm.

And then he compared himself to a dog because he’s easily excitable…which honestly feels like the most accurate self-assessment of all time. 🐶
