As part of the CTA Board’s ongoing safety efforts, we recently invited Cherokee Triangle residents to attend an informational meeting we held, led by Manuela Mattingly from LMPD’s Community Outreach Division, on their new Neighborhood Watch Program.
During this initial, organizational meeting Manuela gave us an overview of the program and details for how interested residents can get connected and participate. We have included some of that information in these slides and hope those who were unable to attend the meeting will read over it and share with their neighbors, or bookmark the post for future reference.
We encourage all residents of The Cherokee Triangle to consider participating in this helpful safety initiative and connecting with your immediate neighbors to organize a watch for your street or block. The more engaged residents become with their neighborhood, the stronger, safer and more informed our community will be; So please don’t be intimidated and, as always, reach out to us if you have any questions. 🙂
