Huge thank you to everyone who came out to Fundraiser at Gander American Grill today to support RAK Louisville.

Whether you stopped by for lunch, came for dinner, grabbed takeout, brought friends, or simply showed up because you believe in what we’re building, please know that we are so grateful.

And a big epic thank you to Gander American Grill for hosting us and giving back 10% of today’s sales to RAK Louisville. We’re grateful for local businesses that don’t just serve food, but serve the community.

On Tuesday, June 9th, head to Gander American Grill and, just by showing up, you'll be part of the 502 Kindness movement. Ten percent of all sales for the entire day will support RAK Louisville and help us keep kindness projects moving across the Louisville.

Big shoutout to RAK Louisville Student Board member Hannah Abell 👏

Hannah, a high school Junior, recently led a hygiene drive supporting refugee outreach efforts for both Catholic Charities of Louisville and Kentucky Refugee Ministries.

Thanks to support from a Youth Service America grant, this project came to life in a big way with more than 120 student volunteers helping spread the word, shop for supplies, sort donations, pack bags, and deliver items to local refugee families.

Students from Sacred Heart Academy - Official Page and the The Louisville Leopard Percussionists jumped in to serve, helping package hygiene bags along with organizing donated supplies.

Our students are mobilizing volunteers, serving their communities, bringing people together, meeting needs that are prevalent and proving that simple acts of kindness can make a huge impact across our city.

So proud of Hannah and every student who helped make this project happen.

Derby weekend looked a little different for Leo Feld… he ran a 502 Kindness Project 🐎!

Leo, a RAK Louisville Student Board member, turned his parents’ house into a full-on Diaper Drive HQ. He rallied his friends, set up collection points at the local YMCA, offered porch pickups, and made a major diaper run with funds from families and friends.

Party Stats from Today:
- Size 5 Wrapped: 2,375
- Size 6 Wrapped: 2,050
- Pull Up 4T/5t Wrapped: 75
- Unwrapped mixed sizes: 738
GRAND TOTAL: 5,238

38 youth “donors” plus 25 in person youth volunteers this week!

Big thank you to a Youth Service America grant for logistics support. Thank you to all students and families who jumped into this project.

All these diapers are all headed to Saint Bernadette Diaper Bank today.

And this is what makes our 502 Kindness students different. They are not just checking off hours or a box. They lead, they invite others in, and they turn small ideas into real impact across our city.

This is 502 Kindness. Big shoutout to Leo and every student who showed up ready to go.

This Derby, don’t just watch the race, be part of something bigger.

Turn your Oaks or Derby party into a moment of impact:
Pack snack bags. Put together hygiene kits.
Collect diapers for our diaper bank.
Or gather pads and tampons for those who need them most.

Split into teams. Set a timer. Go.

Pick a winning horse and have everyone chip in to buy supplies.
Find a way to make it fun.

It might just be the most exciting two minutes of kindness. 💙

26.2 miles. For 502 Kindness.

Cooper and Seth laced up and ran a full marathon carrying the message of Keep Louisville Kind, and we could not be more proud. They carried our mission on their backs and crossed that finish line strong.

And the kindness didn't stop there — congratulations to our very own Board Member Sam, who ran the half marathon spreading joy the whole way in his iconic Superman costume. Because if you're going to run for kindness, you might as well do it in a cape.

Thank you Cooper, Seth, and Sam for showing up, pushing through, and carrying this mission all the way to the finish line.

This is 502 Kindness on the move.
