God's Designs, Inc. God's Designs Inc. is a volunteer-led nonprofit in Louisville, KY, providing furniture, décor and household essentials to families in need.

Our mission is simple: to make a house a home. We collect donations of household furnishings which are stored in a warehouse which are used to furnish homes and apartments for people who have no other resources or alternatives to acquire items needed to furnish their homes. This service is provided at no cost to them. Our motto is "making a house a home" and this we accomplish by adding items such as pictures, floral arrangements, curtains and other accessories.

8-18-26. The volunteers worked making this small house a colorful and comfortable home for a 24 year old mom with a 4 year daughter. They love the colors of pink & purple. The mom has a day time job in healthcare as well as an online job creating press on nails. We were able to create her a nook for her job and provide plenty of shelves for the little girl’s collection of stuffed animals.

July 21, 2026. This week we did a one bedroom apartment for an older gentleman who has gone through several tragedies including loss of several family members in the past few years. This veteran was so surprised at the work the volunteers did that he did not think it was his own apartment. It was good to see him smile after all that he had gone through.
