The Louisville (KY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated proudly congratulates our Alumna Member Diane L. Porter on this incredible and well-deserved honor! đź’š

The Diane L. Porter Preschool will open for the 2026–27 school year, serving as a lasting legacy of her extraordinary commitment to education and our community.

With 39 years of dedicated service as a teacher, counselor, principal, administrator, and member of the Jefferson County Board of Education, Diane has been a true champion for students and families. As the first African American woman to serve as Board Chair, she helped expand early childhood education and advance equity across the district.

Your impact will be felt for generations to come. We are so proud to celebrate you and this remarkable achievement!

👏🏾 Congratulations, Diane! Your legacy lives on!

The Louisville (KY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated’s Black Family Wellness Expo was truly amazing!

It was inspiring to see our community come together where everyone was welcomed and came ready to learn, engage, and invest in their wellness journey.

We were especially honored that Louisville Metro Mayor Craig Greenberg presented a proclamation declaring March 21, 2026, as Black Family Wellness Expo Day in Louisville, Kentucky urging all residents to observe and support this important initiative.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our participating vendors, health providers, and community partners for your commitment to serving our community. We are also deeply grateful to our sponsors. Most notably Goodwill West Louisville Opportunity Center where the expo was held—and to Republic Bank, Passport by Molina, GE Appliances, YMCA, and Fifth Third Bank for helping make this impactful day possible.

This is what collective impact looks like. So proud to be part of this meaningful work. đź’š
