Joyous Singers The Joyous Singers is a community-based chorus based in the Louisville-Kentuckiana area. The Joyous Singers is a community-based chorus for those 55+ years.

They sing a variety of musical styles; sacred, Broadway, popular, gospel, etc. They sing a variety of musical repertoire including show tunes, spiritual, and folk. The choir rehearses on Thursday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30 am and is directed by Anita Mowery.

CELEBRATING OUR 25TH ANNIVERSARY
We are happy to announce that this is the Joyous Singers 25th year of bringing secular, pop and religious choral music performances to our Kentuckiana community.
Since the year 2000 we have provided over 200 concerts to assisted living facilities, churches and other venues in our Louisville and Southern Indiana area.
And we are certainly not finished. We plan to start our new season at our first rehearsal on Thursday, January 9th. We rehearse at our home base, the Lyndon Baptist Church, 8025 New LaGrange Road.

INTRODUCING OUR DIRECTOR: MARY MUSE
We are so happy to introduce and tell more about our Chorale Director. Mary is a retired music teacher of almost 30 years with experience directing church choirs as well as teaching piano and voice. She has always considered her gift to be in taking a group of singers and raising their level of understanding about music and providing them with new and different opportunities to share their knowledge and love of all types of music. She has always had more fun rehearsing and conducting choirs than any other music experience in which she has been involved. It is so good to know she is having as much fun directing us as we are in performing our music under her direction.
