My name is Sten, and I came across Orienteering Louisville through Orienteering USA's club directory. I'm reaching out because we recently launched a PC orienteering game - and thought it might be of interest to your members.

As orienteering enthusiasts ourselves, we got frustrated with how hard it is to train outdoors during winter, so we built Infinite Orienteering: The Hikers Path - a year-round tool for practicing map reading and route choice.

What makes it unique:

Infinite courses - every course is uniquely generated with IOF-standard mapping
Realistic navigation - 5m contour interval, vegetation density, magnetic north
Sprint / Middle / Long - choose distance based on your needs
Replay function - analyse your route choices after every run
Night mode - train with a headlamp
Steam:

The wilderness awaits. The map is your only guide. A realistic navigation simulator that captures the essence of the sport of orienteering. Dropped into a procedurally generated forest with only a compass and a topographic map, your goal is simple: find the fastest route between control points.

Orienteering in St. Matthews Community Park is on for tomorrow at 2pm.
If some crazy OLOU'ers can run around Carter Caves State Resort Park for 5 hours in freezing snow and ice, this sprint will be a cake walk!
