We're close to wrapping up and feeling amazed by this year. If you would have told us at our inaugural race that by year 5 we'd have multiple running groups on the course, sell out three days before race day, and donate over $35,000 to our supported charities, we would have laughed hysterically.
It is astonishing to see hundreds of people gather to honor our service members who died in battle and those we lost at home to the psychological wounds of war. As President Truman said in 1945, "Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude." We feel privileged to have created an event where members of the community remember and honor our fallen heroes. I hope we remember and honor them daily ❤️
