A little life update --

In June, my husband and I had our 2nd child. Following his birth, we moved back to Ohio this Summer to be closer to our families.

In terms of baking and cheesecakes, I am taking steps towards certifying my new kitchen as a Licensed Home Bakery and obtaining my business license. I currently don't have a set timeline for accepting orders, but I will keep you posted. Thank you for the continued support.

Hello! I am Amanda, owner of Type A Events and I am really excited about this new opportunity! After 10+ years of helping coordinate weddings, bridal showers, fundraisers and large-scale events, I'm turning my passion for organization and celebration into something bigger!

Over the years I have learned that no two events are alike, but every celebration deserves the same attention to detail - hence the name! I thrive on organized chaos 🙌

One of my favorite things about baking in a small town is seeing familiar faces everywhere ❤️

At markets.
At school events.
At birthday parties.
At the grocery store.

Somewhere along the way, Missy Mae became more than just cookies to me. It’s market mornings, small town conversations & getting to be a tiny part of your celebrations 🫶

This summer, I’m leaning even more into seasonal treats, rotating flavors, local events & baking from the heart.
