The next event for the SELHG is Military Odyssey which happens this bank holiday weekend.
We will be displaying something slightly different at this show rather than our usual full combat display we will be more focused on the issued kit/personal kit and living areas of the 101st whilst in the field.
There will be a few jeeps of course 😊
It also represents the last public show of the season for the group so expect to see us in full force.
Also we are always looking for new guys/recuits to join the group so if you have a passion for Easy company, 506th PIR of the 101st Airborne and are keen to get stuck in then by all means come and find us this weekend for a chat and meet some the members.
As long as your 18 and above (group insurance purposes) then your more than welcome!

After a great weekend at Tilford Village At War the SELHG's next deployment is at The Overlord Show in Denmead near Portsmouth this bank holiday weekend.
Expect us in full combat kit with a commendered Hotel De France (until we receive new orders) and maybe a few dug in positions.
Come along and see us.

So finally after what seems a lifetime 'off season' for the SELHG, the first event for the 2019 living history season is...

So finally after what seems a lifetime 'off season' for the SELHG, the first event for the 2019 living history season is happening this weekend, Saturday 11th - Sunday 12th, at Tilford Village At War at The Rural Life Centre.
It centres around pre D-Day preperations in early 1944 so training we be the order of the day.
Marching, weapons drill, combat training, enemy weapons talks and general life for a paratrooper is what we shall be demonstrating this weekend.
Please do come along and see us in action and enjoy a rural english village at war.
