Make Loudon Clean Again

We are tired of the litter on the roads in our beautiful County of Loudon, Tennessee and its cities! We are working together to make a difference!

Please join us! Community service hours also awarded!

This afternoon, a young man earned community service hours for helping me clean up Hwy 321 from the Tellico Boat ramp area (Hwy 444). We got 6 bags and debris! Nearly 100 pounds off of our roadways!

Today a young man needing community service hours helped me pick up Maremont and Hwy 72 near Carding Mach. We got 4 bags and 40 pounds of trash, plus a bag at Pole Cat Boat Ramp. It was a beautiful day to make Loudon beautiful again!

We offer community service for anyone in need of hours! Juvenile and adult probation, as well as kids needing hours for school or service groups!

This morning, Scott and I spent 1.5 hours cleaning up the east bound bridge on Hwy 321 near the dam to 444. We got 5 bags, debris, and a total of 260 pounds! I’ve posted before and after photos! I hope it makes a difference for those driving, walking, jogging and biking this route 💛🧡❤️

Today’s roadway litter pickup was SUPER successful thanks to the LDS church of Lenoir City/Loudon! We had more than 40 participants, including families and youth! Also, we could not have done it without help from Scott, Holly, Marissa, Eric and Tammy, all who handed out supplies at 7 different locations across Lenoir City and Loudon!

We don’t have exact numbers yet, (we will on Monday), but we estimate more than 60 bags plus debris and more than 600 pounds removed from our roadways!!

Thank you to everyone who took time away from this beautiful Saturday (Go Vols) and spend a few hours making a HUGE difference! You are appreciated more than you know!

ATTENTION! Tomorrow, Saturday, Sept 26, we will have dozens of community members, including youth, around Lenoir City and Loudon picking up roadway litter.

While they are wearing vests and in areas that should not pose any danger, we ask that you slow down and be mindful of their efforts! Even a little “beep beep” and Thank You is always appreciated!

Hi Y’all! I am in need of a few volunteers this Saturday who can sit at a clean up “check in station” from 9am-11am. If you are someone who has wanted to help, but can’t do a lot of walking, this is your chance! I just need you to get to the station by 8:40am, hand out supplies and wait for them to return no more than 2 hours later. Please DM me or text at 951.317.9935 if you’re available!

On Saturday, September 26, we will have a large group picking up roadway litter around Loudon County and its cities. We need suggestions on where you would like us to focus our pickups.

Currently we are planning to hit at least 6-7 areas with the number of people we have available.

Thank you in advance for your help!

There are two ducks at Pole Cat boat ramp on Hwy 72. They appear to be domesticated. They are struggling. Is anyone missing them? Can someone save them?
