Los Gatos SafeRides The Los Gatos SafeRides program runs every Friday when school is in session. SafeRides offers confidential rides to Los Gatos/Saratoga teens.

Fact or Fiction: All SafeRides volunteers must be juniors or seniors OR have a license.

Fiction: SafeRides volunteers can be in any high school grade.
Volunteers can serve in a number of roles, almost all of which do not require a license.

Fiction: SafeRides is completely confidential and nobody's parents will be notified by the SafeRides volunteers.

Fact or fiction: Saferides is affiliated with Los Gatos high school and shares information with the institution.

Fiction: SafeRides is a completely separate organization with no affiliation to Los Gatos high school. Safe rides is supported by Casa and is run by several students held to a code of confidentiality. The high school has no access to call logs, user history, or names.

Hey there is a training on Friday Feb 5 at 8:30pm in the usual Cafe Hope at the United Methodist church. Signage will be up to make it easier to find. It is only one hour. Come get trained so you can join the fun, earn community service hours and help save lives.

SafeRides is hosting trainings on November 13 at 8:30, November 18 at 7:30, and November 20 at 8:30. If you haven't already been trained as a SafeRides volunteer, come to one of these trainings to join the Active Volunteer Family!
