What do you enjoy most about volunteering for Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas?
“I enjoy making lasting friendships with other leaders, their daughters, the parents in our troop & especially the girls in our troop.”

Favorite Girl Scout memory?
“My favorite memory was our 2021 bridging ceremony at the Santa Ana Wildlife Refuge at which we also celebrated our Silver Award Recipients. ”

What's your favorite Girl Scout tradition or event?
“My favorite Girl Scout event is our troop's annual Christmas celebration. We watch a Christmas movie together while wearing our favorite pajamas. At this event the girls always exchange a book & an tree ornament. ”

What's one piece of advice you would give your younger self?
“The advice that I would give my younger self is to be a troop leader sooner. ”

The Good Neighbor is kindly asking the community for clothing donations! We give out clothes every day to clients and are running low on many of our clothes for men. If you would like to donate, please give our front desk a call at (956) 542-2368 when you are outside the gate so we can assist you in bringing in the donations!

At the moment due to limited storage space and current need, we can only accept the items listed below. We appreciate any and all donations.
