To the many men and women working in a uniform, especially the LBPD officers. I want to say thank you for the dedication, courage, and compassion you show every day. Your commitment to protecting our community—often at great personal risk—does not go unnoticed. I am deeply grateful for the countless sacrifices you make, the challenges you face, and the support you provide in times of need.

With it being Thanksgiving, I just want to say I am thankful for you all.

Your service makes our neighborhoods safer and stronger. Please know how much I appreciate everything you do.

Come join us at Hot Cocoa with the Po-Po. This is a family fun event that everyone will love. We will be alongside the department, stop by and say hi. We will have hot cocoa and for those who don’t like cocoa, we also will be having hot cider too. Come win a prize with our raffles.

Today, Officer Rivas and Sergeant McDonald delivered our PAL Kops 4 Kids donation barrels to various locations within our city. Join the KOPS 4 KIDS Toy Drive by donating new, unwrapped gifts to support children from our community that are in need this Christmas. Donations accepted until 12/12. Los Banos PAL thanks you for your generosity! Huge shout out to our community partners who welcomed the placement of these barrels in their locations. You can find these barrels at the following locations: Los Banos Police Department Lobby, Los Banos Community Center Lobby, Westamerica Bank, Soya Tea Lounge, New Beginnings Church, Tractor Supply, Target Staff Lounge, and the Los Banos Unified School District Office.

**UPDATE - NEW DATE AND LOCATION: NOVEMBER 10TH, 2025 4:30PM-6:30PM AT THE LOS BANOS DES HALL**

Los Banos Police Officer Arturo Solis's family is dealing with a significant challenge as Arturo's daughter is experiencing a medical condition requiring ongoing hospitalization and around the clock care. Out of respect for Arturo's family, we won't share further details - but the LBPOA recognizes the strain such a situation places on all those involved. As a result, we have partnered with the Los Banos Fire Department and will be holding a "drive thru" style dinner fundraiser. Please see the flyer below for additional details! Your support is appreciated.
