Adoption Events are held on the *first and third Saturday of each month* at Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies in Mar Vista. Please stop by and meet our available dogs!

Forte Animal Rescue offers refuge for homeless dogs until they are placed in their permanent homes. In order to successfully rescue and place

the dogs with new families, we rely solely on donations. Once a dog is under our care, we never give up on any dog regardless of behavioral issues or medical challenges, which often means we incur significant expenses for veterinary treatment, behavioral rehabilitation, and boarding for dogs who take more time and care to adopt out. Forte also offers a structured Junior Volunteer program with hands-on experience, run by a certified high-school teacher. We are dedicated to inspiring compassion and educating the youth about the animal protection. Many children are learning the importance of spay/neuter and proper care of the animals while volunteering with us, and some are so inspired that they have decided to become veterinarians. Donations or any support is always greatly appreciated. Donations can be made online (www.FARescue.org) or via regular mail at PO Box 10085, Marina del Rey, CA 90295. We are also looking for foster homes for our rescued dogs, along with volunteers to help our adoption events.

Hi! I came from a bad situation where my human kept me in a crate for six months, even though I was still just a puppy. In spite of that, I’m a happy, friendly boy who loves people and gets along great with other dogs. Because I’m young, I have lots of energy, so I’ll need plenty of exercise, playtime, and doggy playdates to keep me happy and out of trouble. I love toys and treats, and have I mentioned how handsome I am?

Hi! I was rescued from the pound just in the nick of time. I love playing, cuddling, and napping with my doggie foster sister, and I’m always happy to share my toys with anyone who wants to join the fun. Walks are one of my favorite parts of the day because I get to explore new smells and discover the world around me. I’m also learning my potty manners and currently use p*e pads. If you’ll help me with a little more training, I promise to reward you with a lifetime of love, loyalty, and happiness. I’ll make you so glad you welcomed me into your family. ❤️

I can be a little shy when we first meet, but give me just a few minutes and I’ll be rolling over for belly rubs and showing off my favorite “turkey leg” pose. I’m a sweet, gentle, and affectionate girl who loves walks, cuddles, car rides, and being close to my people. I get along well with dogs of all sizes, have been gentle with children, and I’m learning to live with a cat while practicing my “leave it” skills. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will happily join you on adventures and then curl up by your side, I just might be your perfect match!

I was rescued from the county pound just one day before I was scheduled to be executed. Back then, I was scared and completely shut down. I’m now living with my foster family, including two other dogs, a 13-year-old boy, and his mom. I love them all, but I dream of having a person or family to call my very own. I’m incredibly affectionate and naturally protective of the people I love. My trainer says I’m the best boy! I’m eager to please, listen well, and already know commands like sit, stay, heel, and come. I walk nicely on a leash with a gentle reminder, although I can get excited when I see other dogs and bounce around because I love to play.

People describe me as playful, sweet, cute (I won’t argue with that!), and affectionate. I absolutely love to cuddle. Every now and then I get the zoomies, but once I’m home, I’m happiest curling up for a nap—especially if it’s on your lap. My dream home is with someone who enjoys the outdoors, takes me on lots of walks and adventures, and will continue my training. I thrive when I have guidance and know I’m making my person proud. If you’re looking for a loyal, gorgeous, loving companion who’s ready to be your very best friend, you will find that in me!

Hi! I’m about a year old and not too long ago, I was running around the streets of Beverly Hills, hungry, scared, and very lost. I didn’t know where my human was or how to find my way home. Then one day, a very kind woman called out to me. Her voice was gentle, and I was frightened and alone… so I ran right to her. Best decision ever! ❤️
I dream of a forever home where I can get lots of love and attention and maybe another canine playmate. I adore hugs, long walks, learning tricks for treats, tummy rubs, playtime, and being close to my people — basically, I just really love love.
