The City of West Hollywood presents eight artists as part of the Moving Image Media Art exhibition series. Artworks by artists Yozmit the Dogstar, Clarissa Tossin, Alison O’Daniel, Greg Jenkins, Luciana Abait, Richard Mapes, Katya Ivanova, and Monroe Isenberg will display at the top of every hour on various digital billboards on Sunset Boulevard from June 1 – September 30, 2026.

MIMA (Moving Image Media Art) is an exhibition series administered by the Arts Division, as part of the Art on the Outside Program, and is presented with the Sunset Arts and Advertising Program. MIMA offers artists the opportunity, and the funding, to create art that engages with the unique visual landscape of the Sunset Strip.

The City of West Hollywood presents Held by Light, a temporary public artwork by Los Angeles–based sculptor Alicia Piller, now on view in Kings Road Park as part of the City’s Art on the Outside program. Alicia’s work temporarily transforms a park bench into a colorful, welcoming sculptural monument featuring biomorphic concrete forms embedded with curated images, found objects, and solar lighting that softly glows at dusk. Rooted in themes of memory, renewal, and community, Held by Light reflects West Hollywood’s inclusive history and deep connection to place.

Drag Story Hour is a series of story time readings by drag performers for children of all ages presented by the City of West Hollywood in partnership with the LA County Library West Hollywood branch. The program aims to create a safe and welcoming space for children and their families to explore the beauty of diversity, acceptance, and self-expression.

Drag Story Hour was created by Michelle Tea and RADAR Productions in San Francisco in 2015. In 2017, the City's Arts Division funded the first Drag Story Hour at the West Hollywood branch of the LA County Public Library.

This month’s reader, Odious Ari, is a drag king and the City of West Hollywood Drag Laureate.

The City of West Hollywood’s Summer Sounds free outdoor concert series presents The Soul Space featuring Tamara Jade & Orlando Dixon, Mark Evich, and DJ Rosegawd.

The Soul Space is the music experience you didn’t know you were missing. Curated by Tamara Jade and Orlando Dixon, each experience lives at the intersection of new school and nostalgia. Community, connection, and an energy that speaks directly to the soul.

Mark Evich is a Los Angeles–based soul singer and producer making waves in the contemporary R&B scene. Mark is inspired by artists like D’Angelo, Bilal, Jill Scott, and the Soulquarians movement.

DJ Rosegawd is a dynamic DJ and event curator known for her dedication to celebrating influential music, which has solidified her presence in both Los Angeles and New York music scenes.
