Love In The Name of Christ of Cowlitz County Anyone can volunteer with Love INC! What do we do and How can you help? Bike Ministry: Refurbish donated bicycles for people who need transportation.

Our vision is to be vigilant in increasing a positive touchpoint in the community, striving to create lasting, beneficial impacts through active engagement and dedicated service. Furniture and Household goods: We provide donated furniture, appliances and household items to people transitioning into long term housing. Ramp Crew: Every Thursday our team of volunteers builds a wheelchair ramp for eld

erly or disabled individuals. Medical Equipment: In partnership with Medical Teams International we can supply low-income families with much needed medical equipment like walkers, wheelchairs, incontinence pads, and more. Fire Wood Team: Gather, Cut, Split and deliver firewood to low income families who use it as their main source of heat. Lawn Care: Volunteers mow lawns for the elderly and disabled. Manna and Milk: Deliver donations from Panera Bread and Darigold to local distribution points and people in need. Look at all these fans! 👏💙 Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Your generosity is already making a difference for local families.

We're still seeing an overflow of requests and are especially in need of AC units. If you're able to donate a new or gently used air conditioner, we'd love to connect with you.

Together, we can help keep our neighbors safe this summer. ☀️❄️

Have you ever hit a wall where you just had to look up and say, "I can't carry this anymore"? 🤍

Whether you are pouring your heart into supporting our community, leading a team, or simply trying to manage the complex logistics of your own family, the weight we carry can sometimes feel entirely crushing.

I was recently reflecting on a beautiful insight from Jeff Manion’s book, The Land Between (specifically Chapter 4: "The Weight of Discouragement"). He highlights a moment where Moses—one of the most faithful leaders in history—hits his absolute breaking point. Moses goes directly to God and is completely, beautifully honest, telling Him that the burden is simply "too heavy."

The most comforting part of this story? God does not punish him for his exhaustion. He doesn’t tell Moses to "tough it out" or question his strength. Instead, God meets his meltdown with grace, understanding, and immediate support.

If you are feeling weighed down today, please know that it is entirely safe to admit you are tired. It is okay to cry out and say the load is too heavy. You aren't failing; you are just human. And your exhaustion is always met with deep compassion and healing, never condemnation. ✨

🚨 WE NEED YOUR HELP 🚨

We currently have an overflow of requests for fans and AC units, and right now we don't have enough donations to meet the need.

Without your help, many of our neighbors may go without relief during the hottest days of the summer.

We're urgently seeking donations of:
❄️ Box fans
❄️ Oscillating fans
❄️ Window AC units (in working condition)

Every fan and AC unit donated goes directly to a local family, senior, or individual in need.

If you've been thinking about donating, now is the time. The requests keep coming in, but we can't meet them alone.
