MILESTONE FOR HORSEALERT 🧡

We now have 500 volunteer drivers registered with a combined trailering capacity of 1,847 horses ready to help during natural disaster evacuations. 🐴🚚

But with 3,240 total horses currently registered, we still need more volunteer drivers to bridge the gap and ensure every horse has a safe way out when disaster strikes. 🔥

Every trailer. Every volunteer. Every registration can save lives.

Would you be ready if you had 10 minutes to evacuate your horses? 🔥⏱️

Wildfires can spread with quickly, especially during high winds and dry conditions. In some cases, fires move up to 14 mph and evacuation orders happen within an hour of ignition. 💨

The best time to prepare is before fire the fire starts:
✓ Build an evacuation kit
✓ Practice loading
✓ Plan routes

UPDATE: The is no longer spreading!

A pre-evacuation notice has been issued for a fire in Jefferson County. If you need help evacuating your horses, request to be contacted with a driver at HorseAlert.org. Jefferson County drivers currently registered have a trailering capacity to evauate 118 horses.
