Today, we’re showcasing:

🦜 Polly want a cracker? No, Polly wants a forever home!

An elderly couple surrendered 6yo Polly. The husband moved to a memory center, and his wife didn’t have much longer on this earth. Polly was temporarily moved to another home but she could not stay with him in his studio. A woman in an online pug community asked us to rescue her and gave us some funds to help cover some of her vet care (thank you 🙏🏼).

Polly should be ready to fly to the US in December/January to be with her future forever family (could that be you??).

Our first official NYC Pug Meetup is going down this Saturday, 9/19!

We are at capacity (love this huge pug community in NY!). If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket, so we can open up spots for other pug lovers. 😊

around other dogs and people.

💖 5yo Iris is still looking for her forever home! Active and spunky, Iris is a goofball who loves zoomies, a/c and belly rubs. Fostered in Colorado, let’s hear how her foster mom describes her:

“She is thriving so well and has absolutely come along since her arrival. Iris is 100% an indoor dog, but she still stays active with our other dogs and joins them in their outdoor activities. She loves walks around the block till she doesn't anymore; then she will absolutely let you know when she is tapped out 🤭 She will lay on the floor and refuse to nudge an inch until you sweetly talk her into continuing and bribe her with A/C 🤗 She is p*e pad trained and prefers to use the pads even though she gets frequent outdoor bathroom breaks.

She is such a cuddle bug and loves to take up all the space on the bed. She has a fairly strong attachment to my sister (see pic of them in red), and I often find Iris settled in her room by her feet on the floor. My sister loves to play video games, and Iris loves to take her naps down by her feet 💕. Iris also loves car rides, sitting in her foster dad’s lap in her ducky pajamas 🦆

She is p*e pad-trained and prefers to use the pads even though she gets frequent outdoor bathroom breaks.

Iris and I are ready for the fall! She even has her own Halloween holiday outfit. She will be a scarecrow this year (see pic).”
