May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Financial stress is one of the most common challenges individuals face, and access to financial education can play a meaningful role in building confidence and reducing uncertainty.

At CCEE, we believe equipping students with financial knowledge is also an investment in their overall well-being.

This week, we celebrated the educators who make a lasting impact every day.

Teachers shape how students think, learn, and make decisions, including when it comes to their financial futures.

Pictured here is our CEO, David Nungaray, with his high school teacher, Karen Clark Yamamoto, a Social Science educator and Stock Market Game leader. A full circle moment that speaks to the lasting influence teachers have across a lifetime.

We’re grateful for the dedication, care, and commitment educators bring into the classroom every day.👉 Tag a teacher who has made an impact

Many thanks to U.S. Bank for its support of CCEE’s financial literacy initiatives that help us expand economic mobility and advancement.

Through a $75,000 grant, we’re expanding access to personal finance education across California, reaching teachers, students, and communities where this work can have the greatest impact.

Our goal this year: 3,000+ educators trained and 190,000 students reached, with the goal of continuing to innovate in our programming.

We’re grateful for partners like U.S Bank who are helping create greater economic opportunity through education.
