Today is Frank S. Land Memorial Day. Chevaliers are breaking bread, and DeMolay chapters are hosting events to honor a man who was friend to presidents, potentates, grand masters, but most importantly millions of young men! How are you observing the day?

Did you know, not only do we have our general scholarship fund within our Eastern Star Foundation, but specialty ones as well!

🌟 We have the general scholarship, which is described in the image. Applying for this will qualify for specialized funds, when applicable, and determined by our committees.

🌟 The Gerald P. Cashion Memorial Scholarship awards scholarships to those studying Business Administration or Engineering at a 4 year university or college.

🌟 The June Lucretia Barnum, PGM, Memorial Scholarship awards scholarships to those pursing a degree in forestry management and its related fields or education.

, 105 years ago, nine young men from Kansas City, Missouri, met for the first time at the Kansas City Scottish Rite Temple.

They were Ivan Bentley, Edmund Marshall, Clyde C. Stream, Gorman McBride, Ralph Sewell, Elmer Dorsey, William Steinhilber, Jerome Jacobson, and Louis Lower.

A month later, the Order of DeMolay was formally established on March 19, 1919.

Today, we remember these nine young men whose friendship reached over four million young men worldwide.

Not only did we have a great time at the 95th Annual Southern California Jurisdiction - Order of DeMolay Conclave, but Dylan, Joaquin, Matai, Micah, and Santos all received the 2nd Degree of DeMolay. Congratulations guys!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dad Charles "Charlie" Anderson. Dad Anderson was Advisory Council Chairman of Long Beach Chapter for many years. He was a major supporter of both DeMolay and Job's Daughters. Dad Anderson was active with his Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star Chapter.
