About the position: Long Beach Forward’s Associate Director is the connector of multiple initiatives, campaigns, and collaborative efforts and drives our organizational strategy to build community knowledge, leadership, and power with a focus to improve the quality of life for children and families in Long Beach. Core to this position is a strong background in organizing skills and strategy and the ability to support the development of staff and high-functioning teams. As a member of the organizational leadership team, the Associate Director will play a key role in organizational culture and strategy. The Associate Director serves as a key representative to Long Beach Forward’s work and embodies our community-identified priorities and organizational positions and practices in building relationships with community members, partner organizations, decision makers, donors, and funders.
