The Newton Fire Department wishes to congratulate Robert Zalenski on 50 years of service as an Emergency Medical Technician. Captain Zalenski was recently recognized in a ceremony alongside Chief Alcaidinho, Deputy Chief Cook, Captain Janeliunas, and Chief Pellerin of the Kingston Fire Department for his continued service to the department and Town of Newton.

Manchester Fire and AMR Receive Unit Citation At NH Fire & EMS Annual Awards Presentation

Members of MFD and AMR were honored for the life-saving actions they did at a fire on Morgan Street where they located a woman inside a house that had an active fire, and heavy smoke. The woman was rescued and transported to the hospital where she survived.
