This afternoon, the Heartstrings Community Health Team had the pleasure of hosting a Narcan Workshop with Protea Behavioral Health.

We were truly honored to provide this life-saving education to such a great group of individuals. Education, awareness, and access to Narcan can make all the difference when it comes to saving lives in our communities.

Join us on September 24, 2026 for Save a Life Day as Heartstrings Community Outreach partners with The Cardinal Grace Foundation for a day focused on harm reduction, overdose prevention, and life-saving education.
There will be dozens of organizations participating in this important event as we come together to share resources, provide education, and help save lives.

This event can take place at the location of your choice, or your organization can join in with another participating organization.

Today, Heartstrings Community Outreach was honored to host our Stronger Together: Connecting Resources, Changing Lives Luncheon.💜

We want to extend a sincere thank you to every organization, community partner, and professional who took time out of their busy schedules to join us. The room was filled with individuals who are passionate about improving the lives of those we serve throughout our community.

One of the highlights of the event was hearing from each organization represented as they shared the services, programs, and resources they offer. These conversations help strengthen partnerships, increase awareness of available resources, and ensure we can better connect individuals and families with the support they need.

We were also excited to recognize outstanding professionals through our community nomination awards.

We are honored to announce that published author Tammy Null will be joining our June morning Domestic Violence Training session to provide valuable insight on domestic violence, healing, resilience, and personal growth. As an overcomer and advocate, she will offer a powerful perspective that encourages awareness, education, and hope for those impacted by domestic violence.

Heartstrings Community Outreach is offering Domestic Violence Training designed to equip professionals and community members with the knowledge and tools to better support individuals impacted by domestic violence.

🎓 Approved by the Kentucky Department of Professional Licensing (RADPSS)
🎓 Eligible for Continuing Education (including CHWs)
