October is the perfect reminder to stay on top of your health! At Heartstrings Primary Care, we encourage you to schedule your annual wellness exam, stay current on recommended screenings, and talk with your provider about when it’s time for your next mammogram.

✨ Did you know? Some insurance plans even offer rewards or incentives for completing annual wellness visits and preventive screenings! Check with your insurance provider to see what benefits may be available to you.

Heartstrings Hoodie Drive is in Full Swing! 🍁We are accepting donations of new and gently used hoodies and sweatshirts all through October to help keep our community warm! Donations: Open now through the end of October at our Outreach Center. Distribution in November.
Limit 1 per person during distribution.

Our training program is built with flexibility in mind. We understand that everyone’s schedule looks different, so we work around individual scheduling needs whenever possible to make training more accessible and easier to complete.

Current trainings and certifications include:

Community Support Associate (CSA) Training — 10 Hours — State Approved
Su***de Awareness, Prevention & Community Response — 6 Hours — RADPSS Approved
Ethics in Behavioral Health, Peer Support & Substance Use Recovery Services — 10 Hours — RADPSS Approved
Domestic Violence Awareness — 2 Hours — RADPSS Approved
HIV Awareness — 3 Hours — RADPSS Approved
CPR Certification — American Heart Association, BLS, Heartsaver CPR/AED
Peer Support Specialist Training — Coming Soon
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) — Coming Soon

COUNTINUING EDUCATION UNITS FOR TCM, CHW, APSS, & CSA

We believe training should be more than checking a box. Our goal is to provide practical, meaningful education that gives people real skills they can carry into their work and communities.
