What kind of community do we become when people stop caring?

It’s a question worth asking.

Because every week in Lompoc, hundreds of people find meals, connection, support, resources, hope, and belonging through “the H.U.B.” at Micah Mission.

Not because of government mandates.
Not because of large corporations.
Not because someone else stepped up.

Because ordinary people decided they would.

Over 450 meals are served every week.
Women seeking safety find support.
Families moving into housing receive furnishings and encouragement.
People are connected to behavioral wellness, recovery resources, and community partners.

The impact is real.

But so is the need.

The future of this work will be determined by whether enough people choose to invest in it.

So I have two requests:
