Education Northwest invites you to complete a brief survey about your experience with the Montana Aligned to Standards Through-Year Assessment (MAST). Your feedback will help inform state education policymakers and improve how MAST works in schools across the state.
The survey takes about 10โ€“15 minutes and asks about test administration, training and support, student experience, reporting, and technology. Participation is voluntary, your responses will be kept private, and results will be reported only in aggregate.

MTPLC is honored to be awarded the Montana Opioid Abatement Trust (MOAT) Region 5 grant to support opioid prevention programming and student wellness initiatives in Lincoln, Mineral, and Sanders County schools.

Through our โ€œResilient Futures: Opioid Prevention in Schoolsโ€ initiative, MTPLC is helping strengthen prevention systems in rural Montana communities by providing evidence-informed programming, professional learning, crisis preparedness training, and coordinated mental health supports for students, families, and educators.

MTPLC is proud to announce support through the Blue Impact Grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana (BCBSMT) to expand behavioral health and school safety supports for Montana schools!

Through our โ€œClosing Behavioral Health Gaps in Rural Montana Schoolsโ€ initiative, MTPLC is partnering with Montana Small Schools Alliance (MSSA) member schools and reservation-based schools to increase access to evidence-based behavioral health services and prevention-focused supports.

The Mandt System training in Missoula, at Target Range School on March 18 & 19, 2025 (Registration)

***Free to registrants working in MSSA member schools and/or reservation schools***

The Mandt System is a comprehensive, integrated approach to preventing, de-escalating, and if necessary, intervening when the behavior of an individual poses a threat of harm to themselves and/or others.

Dates:

March 18, 2025 8:00-4:00pm Relational
Part I: Mandt Relational Training (capped at 20 participants)
This is the foundation and a requirement for a technical certificate. Relational Training is an all day training with a cap of 20 participants.

March 19, 2025 8:00-4:00pm Technical
Part II: Mandt Technical Training or annual re-certification (capped at 10 participants)
This second day of the training encompasses the physical assists. In order to take the Technical training, you must have completed the Relational training.

Registration fees:
Both Mandt Relational and Technical, is $299/per person.
$223/person for just Relational or just Technical.
