Lodi Access Center The Lodi Access Center is a low-barrier emergency shelter offering wrap-around services, resources, and a fresh start.

Services include shelter, showers, and meals as well as case mangement. The center operates 24/7 with day services occuring 9am-6pm.

Last night, Outreach Ministries International hosted a private benefit dinner for the Lodi Access Center, and what a night it was!

The setting was beautiful. The food was incredible. The atmosphere was special. But the most meaningful part was our community’s response to the mission and message of the LAC.

People came to hear about the work. They left wanting to be part of it. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to the Alegre family for hosting and everyone who attended, served, supported, and helped make the evening unforgettable. The future of the LAC is bright because our community continues to show up and believe in what’s possible.

Working toward lasting solutions to homelessness has always been the goal, and the plan is in place.

The Lodi Access Center provides a safe place to begin while helping individuals address barriers and fill critical gaps through recovery, employment, resources, and support—building a stronger pathway toward housing and long-term stability.

The goal is clear: fewer people experiencing homelessness and more people achieving lasting stability.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of watching one of our clients complete the Adult & Teen Challenge program!

Juan came to the Lodi Access Center in March 2025 with a great heart, but also a hurting and lost heart after five years trapped in homelessness and addiction. After four months at the LAC, Juan made the decision to enter recovery. Fourteen months later, we got to watch him graduate! We could not be more proud of the man he has become and the commitment it took to get here.

The Lodi Access Center is not typically the entire journey from beginning to end. We are a stepping stone from homelessness toward recovery, housing, employment, and stability. Our role is to provide a safe and welcoming environment filled with opportunity, where people have the time, support, and resources to recognize that another path is possible and take that first step.

From there, lasting change takes collaboration. We are incredibly blessed to live in a region with so many recovery programs, housing providers, churches, agencies, and community partners willing to work together and walk alongside people like Juan.

The Lodi Access Center is… WHERE CHANGE BEGINS.

Last week, we had the opportunity to welcome Lodi’s new City Manager, Kara Redding, along with several members of the City of Lodi leadership team, to the Lodi Access Center.

We had a great discussion about the work taking place at the LAC and the needs of our community. We appreciate their time and look forward to continuing to work together to serve the people of Lodi.

For lunch, Faith Community Lodi blessed our clients with a great meal. Then tonight, 15 LAC clients chose to attend Gravity Church’s Saturday night service for some spiritual nourishment.

We’re grateful for a community that continues to care for both physical and spiritual needs. ❤️

Some of the LAC team (and Pastor Jeff McEachron :)) got a firsthand look at the progress on our new facility yesterday.

Drywall is going up, the building is coming to life, and it’s getting harder to contain our excitement! Each step brings us closer to opening the doors and expanding what’s possible for those we serve. We’re getting anxious, in the best way!
