Huntington’s Disease doesn’t wait—and neither can the families fighting it.

The FDA recently stepped back from the accelerated approval process it had already committed to for a promising therapy (AMT-130). This could cause major delays, and families simply cannot afford to wait.

Sam and Jake—and thousands of families living with Huntington’s disease—are running out of time. HD is like Parkinson’s, ALS, and Alzheimer’s all in one, and there are still no treatments that slow it down.

That’s why the HD community united to launch this petition. We’re asking the FDA to honor its commitments and move urgently.
Every day of delay is a day families never get back.

BIG NEWS IN THE Huntington’s Disease World scientists have successfully treated someone with Huntington’s Disease!!! THANK YOU GOD! This is why I live my life to raise money and awareness for Huntington’s disease. This is why I have the HD Charity Event every Fall. This is why I run the Chicago and NYC Marathons yearly and raise money for the Huntington’s Disease society of America. So more research can be done and some day find a cure! Because of all of you have raised money, we are now hopefully on the track to treat and improve the lives of those with Huntingtons disease. This is why I have HOPE for a cure and those suffering from HD. I have Huntington’s Disease and now I strength and hope for the future. This year will be our 7th annual Huntington’s Disease Team Hope Walk and Huntington’s Disease Golf Outing & Dinner, it will be on Saturday, September 6th, 2025. Our goal is to raise money and awareness for Huntington's Disease (HD). As many of you know, my mother, Vicki McCoy, suffered from this disease. She fought an unfair battle and passed away in July 2023. My brother and I also have HD. We also have other family members with this genetic disease. Currently there is no cure for this horrible disease and we need your help, raising money and awareness ‼️

The Huntington’s Disease Charity Event will be on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, at Lakeview Country Club, in Loda, IL. We will start the day, at 8am, with the Team Hope WAlK and Kids Zone Area, followed by a GOLF Outing and will end the evening with cocktail hour, DINNER, silent auction and awards.

Our Team Hope Walk is $25 for adults and $15 for kids. This includes a Team Hope T-shirt and a Bracelet. 🚶🏼‍♀️👕
