Alpha Psi Beta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, Lockhart, Texas Alpha Psi Beta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi is a women's service sorority organization located in Lockhart, Texas. Box 495, Lockhart, TX 78644-0495.

Founded in 1982, this group of women meet monthly and throughout the year, raising money and awareness for many needs in our community. Our organization has been the volunteer sponsors for Reading Is FUNdamental of Lockhart, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation since 1985. RIF of Lockhart raises money through community donations, local and federal grants, memorials and honorariums each year to purchas

e books for ownership for Pre-K through 5th grade in the Lockhart ISD. Each child receives 3 books each year to add to their personal home library. Each year we purchase over 4,880 books for over 2,440 children for a total budget of $16,750. Please make your tax-deductible donation to RIF of Lockhart, P.O. Each year Alpha Psi Beta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi awards two (2) $1,000 scholarships to college bound high school seniors in memory of two of our deceased members. Other projects include Hays-Caldwell Women's Center, Habitat for Humanity, Cause for Paws, Friends of the Library and many other worthy causes.
