D.A.R.E. Camp

D.A.R.E. Camp Drug Abuse Resistance Education D.A.R.E. is a nationwide program for 6th graders to prevent the abuse of alcohol and drugs.

We have just concluded year number 10 with one of the best camps yet. We only hope to grow in the future and offer our services for many years to come. camp is absolutely FREE, and is definitely one of the most fun times of some children's lives. It is an overnight camp that lasts 3 nights and 4 days at the Overton Lodge in beautiful Standing Stone State Park. Activities can include boat rides, ba

seball, inflateables, rock walls, slip-n-slides, night hikes, dances, talent shows, along with many others! Once you're down there, the possibilities of activities are truly endless.

Hello all! I haven't posted in a while, but since the school year has been going for a few weeks I thought I would say hello and wish you all a great school year! Even though camp is on a pause for a while, I hope that you all know and trust that we are always willing to listen when needed! We'll always be here for you! Love you all!

Momma DARE here. I would like to give a very special shout out to Jerry's IGA, Coca-Cola, Mark Peek and the Overton County Drug Coalition, the Livingston Dairy Queen, and The Crowder Family. DARE Camp is completely FREE to the campers and without the support of Great people like you, this would not be possible. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the life of a child. Campers: Thank you all so much for being by far and large one of the best groups of kids we've ever had. I love and will miss you all! Counselors: Thank you all for being so awesome :) you're my second family and I only wish we saw each other more. Adult volunteers: Thank you for helping us make camp happen. I just want to let everyone know I 'preciate everyone who has worked to make this something. From top to bottom and through-out the 10 years of this thing. We gotta keep it going. Tomorrow's the big day!! I hope everyone is ready and excited! This is going to be a great week; we're going to have so much fun. Drop off is tomorrow morning at around 11 or 12. We're looking forward to meeting all of our new campers and making this, our 10th year, the best camp so far! :)
