We are very sorry to announce that there will not be a 2017 Syracuse, NY Promise Walk for Preeclampsia. Unfortunately, our lead walk coordinators had to step back, and we have not been able to secure a replacement. We encourage everyone who was a part of this event to please go register a team at www.promisewalk.org/Virtual for our Virtual Promise Walk event. We hope to see this back in future years, should an interested party step up to lead. Thank you for your support across these many years!

Attention supporters! Last month we mentioned that the Syracuse Promise Walk would be in jeopardy of not continuing. Both Lorelle and I (Michelle) are finding that we will not be able to dedicate the much needed time and effort to coordinate the walk this year, with current job and life demands.

Our walk needs fresh new ideas and direction! At this point, we are looking for someone to step up and coordinate the walk for 2017. Lorelle and I still would like to be involved and would provide direction and assistance to the coordinator.

We are also still looking to fill the following positions:
- Raffle/ donation Coordinator,
- Sponsorship Coordinator
- Activities/Day of Walk Coordinator

Attention supporters! The walk is in jeopardy of not continuing this year! I (Lorelle) am finding my self consumed with real life (work, kids, activities.) I do not have the time to dedicate to the walk this year. Michelle and I are willing to oversee, but I am looking for volunteers to take over certain areas of planning. We need a raffle/ donation coordinator, sponsorship coordinator, and an activities/day of coordinator. This walk and cause deserves more than I can give it. We need new ideas to make it better. This year can be your prep and maybe YOU can take it over next year! Please let me know if you are interested!
