💜 National Grief Awareness Day

Grief looks different for every child.

Many of the young people who come to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches have experienced loss, trauma, or significant life changes. Through compassionate care, opportunities to work, study, play, and pray, children begin to rebuild confidence and discover hope for the future.

On National Grief Awareness Day, we recognize the importance of listening without judgment, offering kindness, and reminding those who are hurting that they don't have to face their journey alone.

Our Donald Ralph Cooke School students recently traveled to Washington, D.C., where they explored our nation's history, asked big questions, and discovered that learning extends far beyond the classroom.
