FIRE Foundation of Denver was founded in 2021 by three parents and an educator as an Affiliate of FIRE Foundation, based in Kansas City, MO. Mission: To champion the inclusion of students with disabilities in Catholic schools by providing educational resources, fundraising, and promoting a culture of belonging. Vision: Catholic school students with disabilities are welcomed, supported, and valued.

At the FIRE Foundation, we know that when students with disabilities are included with typically developing classmates their potential is limitless. This spring, Brody proved just that by tackling two major milestones with confidence, joy, and a lot of heart!

From the confessional to the stage, Brody is crushing his goals! With adaptive tools, he confidently made his First Reconciliation (complete with a secret thumbs-up to his dad). Then, bravely facing the stage, he stood tall in front of the whole school to conduct the Alma Mater at the concert, even cueing the audience's applause at the end!

The “Why” FIRE Denver does what we do. When a student with a disability is given the chance to attend a Catholic school, it doesn’t just change their life, it transforms the entire classroom! Every student in the school grows in charity, patience and virtue. Thanks to your support, 173 incredible students who wouldn’t be able to attend Catholic schools were included across our Archdiocese last school year. All 4,646 enrolled students at our 16 partner schools were enriched by every student bringing their unique, God-given gifts to our schools every day.
