Neighbors, join us Thursday for a conversation with City Director Kathy Webb and Little Rock Parks and Recreation Director Leland Couch!

Kathy will share updates on city issues, and Leland will discuss future plans for Meriwether Park. Bring your questions and hear directly from both about what’s happening in our neighborhood and across Little Rock.

Our final HHNA meeting of 2026 is Thursday, October 22, at 6 p.m. in the Media Room at Hall High.

Park in the main parking lot off H Street and follow the signs to the media room. Invite a neighbor, especially someone new to Hall High. We’d love to see you there!

A little Halloween magic on Markham! 👻🎃

Congratulations to John Doss, HHNA’s October Yard of the Month winner. His display at 7110 Markham is especially fun to see after dark.

This Saturday is our next Hall High Neighborhood Cleanup Day.

Come meet your neighbors, spend a little time outside, and help clean up some of the areas around Hall High that need attention.

📍 Meet in the front parking lot at Hall High on the H Street side

Sherry & Kerry McDonnell will be scouting the neighborhood ahead of time to identify the areas that need the most attention. North McKinley next to Park Plaza is already one of the main areas on the list. If there’s another spot you think needs attention, let us know in the comments. ⬇️

We’ll have trash bags, a few 5-gallon buckets, safety vests, and pickers available. Please bring your own gloves and water, along with an extra picker if you have one.

Our Neighborhood Resource Specialist, Terry Grubbs with the City of Little Rock, will also be joining us Saturday.

After this weekend, we’ll have just one neighborhood cleanup left this year, on December 5.

Come meet your neighbors and help us do some good for Hall High. We’d love to see you Saturday morning.

Join your Hall High neighbors for our next Neighborhood Cleanup Day! We’re getting together to tidy up our high-traffic areas, meet neighbors, and help keep Hall High looking its best.

📍 Neighbors should meet in the front parking lot of Hall High on H Street

We’ll provide safety vests, trash bags, pickers, and buckets. Please bring your own gloves, and extra pickers if you have them.

After this one, we’ll have just one cleanup left this year: December 5.

A reminder for our Hall High neighbors: please keep sidewalks clear of garbage carts, yard waste, limbs, and items placed out for pickup.

City of Little Rock code requires trash containers and yard waste to be placed so they do not block pedestrian traffic on sidewalks or other public rights-of-way.

For regular garbage collection, carts should be placed within five feet of the street or curb, with at least four feet of clearance on either side so the collection truck can reach them. Carts should be removed by midnight after pickup.

Yard waste should be placed within five feet of the curb, rather than on the sidewalk. Leaves, grass and small twigs should go in biodegradable yard-waste bags, boxes or approved containers. Larger yard waste should be placed in small, neat stacks next to the curb, with limbs no more than 6 feet long and 6 inches in diameter.

Hall High has relatively few sidewalks, and we want the ones we have to remain open for walkers, people using mobility devices, families with strollers, and everyone else using them.

If you see a sidewalk blocked by trash, yard waste, limbs, or other items, please take a photo, note the address, and report it through the City of Little Rock’s 311 app. You can also call 311 and provide the address.

Congratulations to the Smith family on taking home this month’s Most Patriotic Yard of the Month! 🇺🇸

Their yard has been turning heads — red, white, and blue done right, with just the kind of care and pride that makes a street feel like home. Neighbors driving down the block can’t miss it, and honestly, we wouldn’t want them to. 🧨

Thank you, Rickie and Sam, for adding a little extra spirit to the Hall High neighborhood this summer. Well earned! 💥

Join your Hall High neighbors for our Summer Neighborhood Cleanup Day this Saturday, June 27 at 9:00 AM!

We’ll meet in the front parking lot of Hall High on H Street, then split into teams to clean up high-traffic areas throughout the neighborhood. Every volunteer makes a difference!

We’ll provide:
✅ Safety vests
✅ Trash bags
✅ Pickers
✅ Buckets

Please bring your own gloves (and an extra picker if you have one).

This is a great opportunity to meet neighbors, give back to our community, and help keep the Hall High area looking its best. Bring a friend, your family, and your kids—we’d love to see you there!
